Returns & Exchanges
We understand that sometimes, what you receive isn’t exactly what you expected, and we are committed to resolving such issues for you. Please find our return and exchange policy below:
- We offer a 10-days return policy from the day your order is received. All items must be returned in their original condition, unopened. Any items that are returned in a condition that is not resell able will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. Customer needs to return the merchandise via traceable delivery i.e. courier or registered post on his own expense to our address.
- If you receive a product that is defective or not functioning as advertised, please contact us immediately for assistance. Faulty products can be returned within a 10-days period following receipt, provided they are returned in their original packaging with all accompanying accessories.
- Exchanges are subject to availability. If you wish to exchange an item for a different color, size, or product, please fill the form. Once we receive your details, a replacement will be created. A courier rider will take the current product from you & deliver the new one. Replacement deliveries are charged at around Rs. 350. The charge is purely to cover the courier charges for the 2 way delivery.
- Refunds are processed within 2-4 working days after we receive and inspect the returned items. The refund will be issued via the bank transfer payment method. Please note that refund times are subject to bank processing delays and are beyond our control. Delivery Charges are inclusive, they will not be refunded. Which in most cases is Rs. 250.
- In rare cases we refund the product cost based on the tracking information provided of the return and do not wait for the product
- If your refund is delayed, first review your bank account statement. Following that, contact your credit card company, as posting times for refunds may differ. Subsequently, contact your bank to check on processing times. If after these steps your refund has not arrived, please reach out to us at hitmodernage@gmail.com.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your item is returned to us safely. HIT MODERN AGE is not liable for any items lost during return transit.

- Please note that if the return or exchange is due to customer's change of mind or a mistaken order they placed, delivery charges will not be refunded. They are inclusive. Which in most cases is Rs. 250. Even if a product states "free delivery," it means the delivery cost is incorporated into the price. Returns or exchanges due to customer change of mind or mistaken orders will not include a refund for delivery charges. We seek your understanding that any costs incurred for shipping are only refundable when the fault lies with HIT MODERN AGE, such as in cases of faulty products, packing mistakes

- Once your request is confirmed, we will proceed with the return or exchange process.

Please be advised that delivery charges are non-refundable in instances where the return or exchange is due to customer preference or error.
HIT MODERN AGE will not be responsible for the original delivery costs incurred due to returns or exchanges unless the reason for return is a fault on our part, such as incorrect or defective items.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
